The #55 team wrapped up the grueling UMP DIRTcar
Summer Nationals tour tonight at the Oakshade Raceway
in Wauseon, Ohio. After timing in fifth quickest in his
group during qualifying, Jeep Van Wormer unfortunately
suffered mechanical problems during his heat race. He
took a series provisional to gain access into the $10,000
to win main event and later rolled off nineteenth on the
grid. Jeep then blasted past thirteen competitors in the
60-lapper to score a sixth place performance behind winner
Rusty Schlenk, Jack Sullivan, Ryan Unzicker, Dennis Erb,
and Donnie Moran. When the final points were tabulated,
the Pinconning, Michigan native found himself in the fourth
spot behind series champion Jason Feger, Dennis Erb, and

The second-to-last "Hell Tour" event
took place tonight at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica,
Ohio and a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. Jeep Van
Wormer broke a rear end in his primary car during the
qualifying session, but used a back-up car to storm through
the field in his heat race to earn a second place finish
from the back. After starting sixth in the 40-lap main
event, Jeep drove his #55 entry to a stellar runner-up
effort behind only winner Jason Feger. The Pinconning,

The Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana greeted
the cars and stars of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals
tour tonight with another $5,000 to win showdown. Jeep
Van Wormer paced the stout field during qualifying to

action. After starting eighth in the 40-lap main event,
Jeep unfortunately suffered problems around the halfway
point of the race and retired in the nineteenth position.

After eventually getting a series provisional and starting

The Iron Motorsports team rolled into the Spoon
River Speedway in Canton, Illinois tonight for round twenty-four
of the daily UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals grind. Jeep
Van Wormer laid down the quickest lap in his group during
qualifying and later won his heat race. After drawing
the pole position for the $5,000 to win main event, Jeep's
hard tire selection caused him to fade to as far back
as eighth in the early portion of the race. However, he
charged back up through the field to secure a hard-fought
fourth place finish behind winner Ryan Unzicker, Tim Lance,

Jeep Van Wormer racked up his fourth UMP DIRTcar Summer
Nationals triumph tonight at the Quincy Raceway in Quincy,
Illinois! Jeep, who arrived late at the racetrack after
suffering a flat tire on his transporter, qualified second
fastest in his group during time trials and later won
his heat race. The Pinconning, Michigan native started
third in the 40-lap main event, but grabbed the top spot
on lap seven when leader Brian Shirley lost power. Jeep
then cruised to the $5,000 victory by beating Jason Feger,
Ryan Unzicker, Doug Drown, and Mark Burgtorf to the checkers!

Nationals took the Iron Motorsports team to the Fairbury
American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois tonight
for a $10,000 to win program. Jeep Van Wormer qualified

earned the third transfer position in his stacked heat
race. After starting twelfth on the grid in the 50-lapper,
Jeep quickly moved up to the fifth spot before the track

problems underneath the hood that relegated the Pinconning,

The 30th Annual 'Herald & Review 100' took
place tonight at the mighty Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois!
Jeep Van Wormer qualified third fastest in his group and
later ran third in heat race action. After starting thirteenth
on the grid in the $6,000 to win main event, Jeep stayed
out of trouble for the most part in the wild 100-lapper.
When the dust had settled at the tiny 1/5-mile venue,
Jeep found himself credited with a ninth place finish.

Michigan native was scheduled to start sixteenth in the
$5,000 to win feature event, but Mother Nature unfortunately
